5) DD Direct Plus E- Auction: On number 5 is our very own government-run DD Directs auction. The second largest DTH operator in India auctioned 21 slots through E-Auction. DD Direct plus received successful bids for each one of the 21 slots. The average bid for the slots was Rs 2.2 Crores 50 % more than the base price of 1.5 crore.
