Indian Telecom companies seem to be entering the Mobile handset production market to make up for the low call rates that they are providing. Airtel launched its very own Tab Beetel Magiq Tablet then Reliance launched its Reliance Tab and now Reliance has launched Indias First CDMA Android Mobile phone. The new CDMA Android phone will be launched with a collaboration with Chinese Mobile handset manufacturer Coolpad. The model is named D530 and is launched by reliance with Coolpad.
The Android mobile is priced at just Rs 8,000 which is comparatively less expensive. The mobile has a 3.5 inch wide Touchscreen. D530 will run on Android Eclair OS and will have 800 MHZ processor. The cool D530 also has 2 megapixel camera with which you can take photos and shoot videos as well. The screen resolution of this mobile is 320*480 pixels. The device is designed around facilitating easy Internet access for users. It offers hi-speed data browsing with its Wi-Fi Hotspot feature. This feature enables the D530 to double up as a Wi-Fi router/ Internet hub for multiple devices including itself. Which is a very cool feature in a Android phone which is priced at just Rs 8000.
The handset has also been designed keeping a consumer’s business needs in mind. It offers a GPPS browser along with email, text input prediction and a new feature known as incoming calls firewall helps making your work secure with enhanced security measures protecting you against viruses and malware. Which again is something new and is not available in Android phones which are priced that low. It also has normal features like MP3 playback, FM Radio and you can Synchronize it with your PC.
All these features make The Coolpad D530 something desirable. It is packed with some real cool features and gives a lot more apart from being Android Mobile. One more thing that is exciting about D 530 is that Reliance offers a 100 % money back Scheme that extends to over 2 years. So you get all your money back with all those cool features. One more thing that is in favor of D530 is that since it is a CDMA Android phone you wont have to shell a lot for the mobile internet (GPRS ) usage. The mobile internet charges on CDMA are cheaper by many times as compared to GSM connections. Also CDMA connection offer a faster internet connection which means you can get all those android apps without paying too much.
While everything seems wow about this mobile there are a few things that have to be taken in mind prior to getting a new D530. The first thing is that the Coolpad D530 is a Chinese handset so that thing will always hover in your mind. Also where will you get the mobile serviced from if there are any problems with it. Also does it only support reliance Sim cards or does it support other sim cards like Tata Indicom and Virgin.
