4G technology is a generation of standards for mobile telecommunication. It stands for fourth generation.
Because of wired and cabling problem very few people are connected to internet, it will be solved and many new people will join the internet because of 4G. It is much faster than 3G. To download videos, pictures and music 4G is better than 3 G. For surfing a web also 4G is best.
If you’ve been frustrated with clogged-up networks on 3G phone than 4G may be the solution. 4G has less traffic on their network for internet data. There are many areas in our country where there cannot be 4G coverage. In an LTE phone users will face battery life problem if they don’t disable 4G LTE, as the non-existent signal search by radio will drain the battery. In 3G there is still life for battery but the internet speed is low.
4G offers more security than Wi-Fi, it enhances the safety and privacy of data and increases its business users.
After giving great connectivity, 4G is still in the formative stages and could result in bugs or glitches. 4G promises to be 10 times faster than 3G. But it is wrong as the 4G users say that they are not. In reality the promise of 4G is fake. Yes the network itself is absolutely capable of performing 10 times faster than 3G networks but the other way.
The connectivity between the cellular network and local ISP’s network is fast but the speed is low to load the site on the browser. Web performance is not so simple. Depending on real-world variables consumers need to realize that 4G can also deliver speeds up to 10 times slower than 3G. 4G network is all IP-based so it passes in same way the information between the phone and carrier as a web browser communicates with the Internet. Theoretical 4G talks about giving speed of 14.4 mbps.
As per to real world things – consumers don’t experience the same speed as said by 4G. Due to people moving while using their devices, distance from the cell tower and interference from walls and objects the speed delivered by 4G network is only 3 to 5 mbps. There have been fine tuning by the carriers for their 3G networks to account for these real world things and delivers the speed of 2 to 3 mbps. Being newer still 4G has to be tuned by the carriers.
4G network is facing a weak signal and it is worse than a good 3G signal. Because of the weak signal the cost factor is high in 4G network. In India still we don’t have the 3G network in all the areas and in all cell phones, so how would be the 4G network accessible by the consumers easily. 3G is using CDMA as their Multiple access technique and its variations and in 4G both the technologies (LTE and WiMAX) using OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) in downlink
Around the world 3G service in surfing and downloading the pages is better than 4G but as per to the speed 4G is best. It is very difficult to speak about 4G network in India. In conclusion, in terms of speed and quality both 3G and 4G network are good. In coming few months 4G is expected to become the premier connectivity provider.
