Last month telecom operators Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea had signed a deal last month to share their 3g networks in order to provide seamless 3g connectivity to their respective customers. After Airtel launched its 3g service on mo=bile in the states of Maharashtra and Goa, Vodafone launched its 3g service for mobile in Bengaluru. Vodafone is now set to launch its 3g services for mobile in other towns and cities in the state of Karnataka.
Vodafone India has also revealed its tariff for 3g services in Bengaluru. For prepaid Vodafone Mobile users there are a range of packs with which they can enjoy the faster and better 3g internet. For starters there is Rs 28 pack. With the recharge of Rs 28 Vodafone subscribers will get 28 mb of Internet which will be valid for a day. This is the minimum pack. The maximum that a Vodafone prepaid subscriber can recharge is Rs 4,250. With the recharge of Rs 4,250 the Vodafone Prepaid Subscriber will get 3g internet of 18 GB which will be valid for 180 days.
There are other several plans for prepaid vodafoone subscribers. With Rs 100 recharge vodafone prepaid subscribers get 100 mb of data usage free which will be valid for 30 days. The quarterly plans start at Rs 3,250 with which vodafone subscribers get 6GB data valid for 90 days. And the other plans are of Rs4,250 and Rs 6,250 which offer 18 gb and 30 gb respectively. With a recharge of Rs 1,250 vodafone prepaid subscribers get 5 GB of data on their mobile valid for a month.
Excess data usage will be charged at 10 paisa per 10KB and video calls are priced at 3 INR per minute.
